How Sylver Consulting Helped PineMelon Level Up Their Go-to-Market Strategy

Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with PineMelon, a Denver-based online grocery delivery service, on refining their go-to-market strategy. As a business that champions local vendors and farmers, PineMelon sought to fine-tune their approach after a year in operation.

Understanding the Heartbeat of Denver

Our journey with PineMelon began with a deep dive into consumers of the Denver market. Our Design Research team connected with 399 consumers living in the delivery zip codes for PineMelon—using two methodologies (a three-day qualitative community and a 10-min quantitative survey).

Sensemaking Workshop

After the data was gathered, we invited the PineMelon team into a live Sensemaking Workshop at Sylver’s office. As a team, we analyzed the findings in real-time, discovering together each insight’s role in helping to shift and refine Pinemelon’s Go-to-Market approach.

Activating Insight

The Pinemelon team has done an amazing job of activating this insight into new refinements to its marketing, positioning, and product. Today we get the honor of amplifying the TVC spot recently launched. "Pinemelon: Act like ur local," highlights the team’s newfound clarity and strategic direction catalyzed by our joint efforts.

Being a strategic partner of PineMelon’s was a special moment of 2023 for the Sylver team. They are a passionate and driven team, committed to harnessing the strength of local foods to empower communities and help grow the number and the share of local makers in the food system.

It’s been a joy to work with this team, helping them to discover new up levels in how they can increase their stewardship of responsible agriculture and food distribution.
